| Mercy Home Orphanage in Northern India
Mercy Home Orphanage was started with a step of faith as Anish and his wife Mary took in five orphans displaced by the 2004 tsunami. These children, like many others had nowhere to live and were given food, shelter and clothing. Without the love and compassion of Anish and Mary they would have wandered the streets of their community. Additional children joined these orphans and thus began Mercy Home Orphanage. Each child receives a Christian education and resides in a safe, loving environment. The streets are filled with children who do not receive even the basic necessities of life. Mercy Home provides a beacon of hope, stability and love in the Name of Jesus for the children who are fortunate enough to reside there.
