Background: |
Pavel was raised in Tver Russia. His parents were Baptist and he was severely persecuted for their faith as he was growing up. Pavel turned his back on God and any form of religion as a result. He went into business and served as an officer with the Russian army in Afghanistan for 8 years, the last year on burial duty. After burying his best friend, he left the army and came home to go into business. In 1999 Pavel returned to the faith of his parents and gave his life to Christ. God called him into ministry. Since then he has graduated from Bible College and is currently regional director of the Society of the Army. Pavel is planting a church in Tver and is ministering to thousands of Russian soldiers in prisons, hospitals and conferences in the Tver and Novgorode regions primarily.
