		Marjorie Ntori

	Background:	Marjorie Ntori serves the people in her village of Lawra with great passion and joy. She is a nurse and works tirelessly to attend to the physical well being of residents in her very rural community where she runs a nutrition center, orphanage and HIV/AIDS patient care facility. She visits the sick in surrounding villages and provides much needed transportation to a local hospital whenever possible. Many of the children in the orphanage have lost their parents to HIV/AIDS and many reside in the orphanage because their parents can no longer afford to care for them properly. Her patient care facility provides support to HIV/AIDS patients in the end stages of the disease.
	National's Vision:	In addition to expanding health care services, Majorie’s vision includes training villagers in skills that would enable them to provide food for their families and to earn an income.
	How ASON is Assisting:	ASON will partner with Majorie to develop an agricultural project where individuals will be trained in the skill of farming. This will enable them to provide food for the community, their families and an income when harvested for sale. The art of weaving, basket making and other crafts will be taught with the intent to sell the products for income, as well.
