Background: |
Maris and Inara are planting churches and coaching church planters Latvia and beyond. Ellen discovered Maris, a Latvian planting churches among Latvian people in Latvia, through an equipping ministry in Minnesota. In 2005, together with Sergejs Homjakov and an ASON short-term mission team, we conducted a tri-lingual youth camp for high school and college age youth - English, Russian, and Latvian. It was highly successful, involving 51 campers from 17 cities around Latvia, from 21 churches of more than 5 denominations and 8 nationalities! A second tri-lingual camp was held in the summer of 2007. |
