Rob McCleland
Presently:  Dr. Rob McCleland currently serves as the Executive Director of the North American Baptist Conference, a collaboration of 400 churches in the United States and Canada. The NAB is also maintains an active overseas missions program.
Background:

Prior to his ministry with the NAB, Dr. McCleland served several corporations in the areas of leadership development and organizational advancement. His career includes the position of Executive Director of an international medical foundation, Vice President of the Christian and Missionary Alliance, and Dean of the Nyack College campus on Capitol Hill in Washington DC. He has consulted nationally in the areas of strategic planning, organizational alignment, and major donor development. Educationally, Dr. McCleland earned a Master’s Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary while working under Dr. Howard Hendricks in the areas of mentoring and leadership development. He then earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. “Dr. M” (as his students call him) has taught graduate classes in MBA and Organizational Leadership programs for several schools. He confidently asserts that he learns far more from his students than they learn from him. His heart goes out to the underserved with leadership potential—the kind of people who say, “If someone would just give me a chance…”

Away from work, Dr. McCleland is married to Dawn, his bride of over 20 years. Together they enjoy hiking, travel, having people in their home, and working on never-ending home improvement projects. He spends any free time (futilely) attempting to unwrap himself from the little finger of his teenage daughter, Kaylie.
