	Background:	Firo is the founder and director of a Christian school in Villa Esfuerso, DR. We were asked by friends of Firo to establish a child sponsorship program that would assist his school. Firo is a dedicated, very capable school administrator who cares deeply about the people living in the very impoverished community in which he works.
	National's Vision:	To establish a solid Christian school and church as an outreach to a very impoverished and spiritually dark community of Villa Esfuerso
	How ASON is Assisting:	1. Child sponsorship program that supports the ongoing work of the school 2. Provision of a full time employee, Raquel Mendez, that administers the child sponsorship program locally and provides counseling for the families of the sponsored children and outreach events through the sponsored children.
