Background: |
Ellen has known Negro since the early ‘90’s. Negro is a pastor and he and his family are committed to church planting. They left their home church in 2004 to attend a new church plant started by a pastor Negro respected and loved. Negro put his support behind this new church and pastor. When the church outgrew their little facility, Negro contacted Ellen to see if ASON could help the church construct a building on a piece of land the church had purchased with their own funds. This church building was completed by ASON teams in 2005. |

National's Vision: |
God has moved Negro to assist visionary and energetic church planters in various parts of the Dominican Republic by encouraging the pastors, offering his personal assistance and by finding others to help with construction of church facilities. |

How ASON is Assisting: |
1. ASON teams have built one church for a pastor and congregation who Negro has been led to support. In July 2007 ASON recruited another team to assist with construction of a second church for a congregation who also outgrew their facility. |
