Dear praying friends:
Rhonda and I had a great flight. We even watched a movie during our 7 hour layover in New York. We arrived in Accra right on time and Eddie (our guide) and Christopher (our driver) were waiting for us, having checked our flight arrival time on the Internet.
We "bribed" a customs official with 2 children's t-shirts we brought to give away, as they were in a mood to collect some duty on the school supplies and things we have brought for Peter's ministries. We left him with a smile on his face and we smiled too, knowing we had saved more of the Lord's funds for use in Zuarungu.
We stayed at a clean guest house where we didn't even see one mosquito...a few ants, but no mosquitoes. We had a good dinner last night and in a few minutes we will enjoy breakfast before driving all day to Tamale.
Thank you for praying for us! Please pray especially for our driver, Christopher. He left Islam and has attended a couple of churches but does not yet know Christ.
Here's a picture: On left is our driver Christopher, in the center is Rhonda and on her right is Eddie. The vehicle behind them is our rented Toyota Sequoia.

Bible Update: On Nov 2, FIVE THOUSAND Frafra Bibles were delivered safe and sound by 2 flatbed trucks to Peter's area! They will bring enlightenment, encouragement and joy to everyone who will receive them in the days and weeks to come. May God bless all of you for participating with your financial gifts AND prayers as our dear partner Peter negotiated for the Bibles and arranged the transportation (2 days journey across the country)!
Blessings,
Ellen
