Dear Friends:
The ASON team in the Dominican Republic is doing very well. We have completed the tile on the floor of the bakery, shopped to price equipment and supplies for the bakery, enjoyed 2 worship services with Marino's church and yesterday we visited the beach. Everyone is doing well, learning a lot and making great friends. One team member shared that after just 3 days she already felt sad when thinking about returning home and leaving these new friends. Dominicans have that way about them. They are warm and open.
The team is a special blessing to me as the team leader. They have a great mix of gifts and every one of them are being used! Those who love dance are preparing to participate in worship next Sunday, I will be preaching, others will be singing. We will visit 2 different prisons, one on Friday and one on Sunday of this week. Besides great gifts, this team is always ready and have wonderful attitudes.
Please continue to pray for us. Every day is packed with activity from early to late in the day.
