Dear friends,
God continues to bless us with His presence. Emmanuel has been one of my favorite names of God lately. It is so powerful to know that whether I am in a remote village in northern Ghana, in bustling India with over a billion people, or in my home, God is with me. Might you sense His presence in great ways this week.
I travel next week to the Dominican Republic to gather information that will allow us to apply for grants to build 2 great ball fields in conjunction with 2 ministries with which we have a 20 year track record. These ball fields will draw unbelievers to the churches we are working with and will bring drug addicts and gang members into contact with powerful believers who want to lead them from darkness to light. Pray that we might have favor with the granting organization and that they will say yes to these $68,000 grants (we need 2).
I will also be attending a church service in celebration of Rafael Mendez’ more than 20 years of service as administrator of one of our sponsorship schools in the DR.
I just made plane reservations for Aug 10-20 to go to India for the inauguration of our second theological school in India. It is very exciting to be on the ground floor of something so critical to the spreading of the gospel in India.
Pray for me as I travel and for our staff as we continue to grow and expand the reach ASON has around the world.
