Dear friends,
Things are hopping around ASON's office these days. We are thrilled to have Mary Odom join our staff full time. She will work with the child sponsorship program and assist Ellen with some crucial communications and activities that we have been waiting to do for a long, long time!
We also have a purchase agreement on a small office building. We are waiting to hear from lenders this week and hope to close within a couple of weeks as God paves the way. When our new staff member saw the office building she said, "Wow. God was holding this for you." I think so, too. It's perfect for our needs in every way.
I leave for the Dominican Republic tomorrow morning for one week to take a child sponsorship team to do the birthday parties for our 2 sponsored schools. I will be home 3 days after this journey before departing for 2 weeks to Germany where we will be attempting to network one of our church planters with other ministries in Germany and laying a plan for the renovation of their new property for the ministries they hope will reach around the Baltic with the gospel.
As you can see, we need your prayers. This is the first international journey I've taken since hip replacement in December. I think I'm ready. God is good.
