Joanne has been married to her husband Barry for over 45 years. They have three children and nine grandchildren who live in Florida and Georgia. She entered nursing training in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in 1959, receiving her R.N. in 1962.
Although she never planned to follow her parents in a teaching career, she began teaching nursing immediately after graduation and received a B.S.N. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1966 and a Master's in Science Teaching from the University of West Florida in 1988. Joanne practiced nursing for most of Barry's private practice years, then spent over 14 years teaching a variety of sciences in Christian Schools during the family's numerous military moves.
In addition to her teaching, Joanne is also heavily
involved in Crown Financial training and enjoys reading, scrap booking, and travel, especially to visit grandchildren. She looks forward to working with Ellen and participating in the ministry of ASON.

Background:
|
Susie was raised in a Christian family and was saved and baptized at 8 years old. While in the Girl’s Auxiliary program through the Baptist church she studies about missions and wanted to become a missionary. She majored in Deaf Education at the University of Tennessee, but instead of working in that field she became a flight attendant based in California for 12 years before coming to Florida. In addition to helping Larry in the building business, Susie started a gymnastics academy and ran that business for 13 years.
She and Larry have been married 36 years and have two grown daughters and three grandchildren. Since meeting Ellen Abramson she has gone on two mission trips to the Dominican Republic and sponsors two children from there. Susie’s hobbies include travel, reading and bead work.

Vi Morris is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. She earned her Master's Degree in counseling from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. She recently retired from a small private practice and responsibilities as the Director of Pastoral Care and Family Development at Faith Fellowship Church in Melbourne, Florida.
At 32 years of age, Vi heard and received the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Since then, Vi has been involved in the work of sharing Christ with others. The involvement with ASON International is an expression of her desire to have others know the joy of their freedom in the Savior. Although Vi hasn't had many opportunities to visit the mission fields outside the United States, each mission journey enlarges her vision for ministry. She shares Ellen's vision for equipping nationals to do the work of the gospel.
She and her husband of over 45 years have lived in Melbourne for over 27 years. Their early years were spent in New Jersey and Connecticut. She and her husband Lou have two grown sons and five grandchildren ages 1-10. Four of those children have invited Jesus to be their Savior and begun the journey of life with Him. This Good News is perhaps one of her greatest joys!
